FLEXOFFERS
Dating back to 1672, the renowned French cartographer Albert Jouvin de Rochefort made this phenomenal plan of Paris, creating the city's streets and roads, commons and rivers in terrific detail. In the upper corners, he placed illustrations of Notre Dame Cathedral and the Hotel de Ville, seats of religion and government, respectively. In the lower left, he dedicated his monumental work to Simon Arnauld, a prominent diplomat and ambassador to Sweden.
